I don’t want to speak too soon. However Teddy has had them for three days now and I can already see a change in him. I am starting to see little changes in behaviour - not so much pulling on walks and being better at following commands. Both my cockapoos are headstrong. I gave 5 stars as I am hoping these really help my 2 Cockapoos. Jasper is 5 and Daisy is nearly 2 and both are barkers. They get the calming aid mixed in with the evening meal and tonight will be the 5th dose. They are a lot quieter during the day but still bark at the doorbell and car doors so when they cut down on that I will know they are working.

How should I prepare for fireworks in November and December?
Build a consistent daily routine ahead of Bonfire Night and New Year celebrations. Give the normal weight-based serving with food, prepare a familiar quiet den and walk before dark. Close curtains and windows before displays begin and stay nearby if your dog needs reassurance. Mellow Paws is daily nutritional support, not an instant rescue treatment. For significant noise fear, speak to your vet in advance.
Should I give extra tablets on fireworks night?
No. Follow the normal daily amount on the label and do not exceed it. If your dog is very distressed, contact your vet rather than increasing the serving.
How long will my chosen pack last?
At half to one tablet daily, one tub lasts 120–240 days. At two tablets daily it lasts 60 days; at two to three daily, 40–60 days; and at four daily, 30 days. Two tubs provide twice these durations, and four tubs provide four times these durations. The buy box shows the supply for your selected size and pack. Are these tablets or chews?
Tablets, not chews. Each tub holds 120 chicken-flavoured tablets, and each one is an 18mm oval tablet you can halve by hand between your fingers. Most dogs take them straight from the hand. They are not designed to be wrapped for a very small mouth — so if your dog refuses tablets in every form, this is not the right format for them.
My dog is fussy and spits tablets out. What do I do?
Three things work for most dogs, in this order. Give it whole — most dogs take the chicken-flavoured tablet like a treat. Hide it inside a soft treat. Crush it over a normal meal and mix it through, or split the halves across two meals. If your dog refuses all three, this is not the right format for them.
How many tablets should I give, and can I split the dose?
It goes by your dog’s weight: up to 10kg, half to 1 tablet a day; 11–25kg, 2 tablets; 26–40kg, 2–3 tablets; over 40kg, 4 tablets. You can give the daily amount in one go or split it across two meals — either is fine. The tub label is the guide that counts, and do not exceed it.
My dog is more anxious than reactive. Is this still for them?
Yes. Owners describe the same problem in different words — reactive, anxious, wired, always switched on, or just unable to switch off. If your dog takes a long time to come back down after an ordinary trigger, the formula is built for exactly that.
Is the chicken flavour real chicken? Can my dog take it with an allergy?
The chicken-style flavour comes from yeast and contains no chicken protein. The five actives are L-Theanine, Taurine, Inositol, Vitamin B1 and Ginger Extract. If your dog has a known allergy, or is under veterinary supervision, speak to your vet before use.
Can I use it alongside my dog’s medication, or if they have seizures?

How long until I see a difference?
